Deano is the most giving person I have ever known. I remember when he was offered a liver and he declined. He said he was not sick enough and to give it to somebody that needed it more than him. Later he was told that a young women who had very little time left received it. He always asked about her and she is doing good. That is what he had wanted, to help someone. I know he will never be forgotten. I know I never will forget him. God Bless You Deano. Your Friend Jeri

Mrs.Shelly,
I only knew Mr. Dean for a short time he had a heart of gold and would fight to save any and everyone who he could tell and reach. He had Heart of Gold and He was one of the most courageous Lions I ever meet on the battle field for life and to bring awarness to those who need help.I am sorry that a Hero like Mr.Dean is gone so soon, I wish he would still be here to fight, but You,me,Wayne and Heather will continue on the battle field.May God Bless you and your family. You will always be in my heart.

Kind Regards,
Robin Y. Bennett

Dean will truly be missed. I had the honor of knowing Dean for several years. Anytime there was a Hep C event somewhere, it seemed that Dean and Shelly were there. He had an huge passion for Hep C awareness as anyone who happened to be near him would soon learn. He was always so happy and full of life. I don't believe I ever saw him when he wasn't smiling!! He was very open about his past and how he had changed his life for the better.

As many know, he hosted a Hep C radio show along with Shelly. He would often give out his cell phone number to the listeners. Shelly would say, "I assure you, Dean WILL answer the phone anytime day or night. I've seen him almost fall out of bed trying to get to the phone!!" What commitment….

The Texas Liver Coalition website (www.texasliver.org) reads it best - "remember Dean's wicked smile and wild spirit..remember to live hard and not to look back,
to look at yourself and your past fearlessly."

Dean Moore, you were great person and we will miss you so much.

I will so miss Dean. I knew him a short time and wished I had known him much longer the first time I met him. He was the inspiration that helped me to accept my own brothers death from this same disease. He encouraged me to use my knowledge and energy to help others instead of feeling sorry for myself He was courageous and positive, selfless and kind. His smile and attitude were infectious ... What a beautiful man. I wish his family God's Peace. All my love.. Mickey

What a kind, gentle soul and a gentleman as well. And a fearless leader for HEP C awareness. Dean was always such a strong supporter of all musical genres and those of us doing music programs at KPFT.

Condolences to Shelly, Dean's family and his numerous friends.

Dean was always kind, friendly and happy. I have so enjoyed being the engineer for the Open Journal Hep C program at KPFT. I will miss Dean very much. Shelly, I hope you continue doing the program. There really are so many hep C patients who depend on it for information.
