He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Nelida Cortes Abella; their 6 children, Nina Minette Abella Casillan & husband Anthony, Mavis Cortes Abella, Marvin Cortes Abella & wife Krysten, Michelle Abella Bahena & husband Edward, Meyland Cortes Abella & wife Maria Rowena, and Mayeth Abella Lopez & husband Ceasar Ryan; and 15 grandchildren.
