
Sugar Land, TX -Mettie Elmira Mizerik, long-time resident of Pearland and the Houston area, died April 28th, 2012 at the age of 78.
Born in 1934 in Waldron, Arkansas, Mettie found her way to Houston, TX. She met and married her future spouse in Houston and worked for Southwestern Bell for over 25 years. She extremely enjoyed traveling with her family
She was the widow of Rudolph (Rudy) Mizerik. She is survived by her son, John Mizerik and his wife Elizabeth; grandchildren, Alexander and Nicolette; sister, Ruth Montier, and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, May 3rd, 2012 at 9:00am at St Theresa Catholic Church in Sugar Land, TX. Mass services will begin at 10:00am. Internment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Pearland, TX.

Born in 1934 in Waldron, Arkansas, Mettie found her way to Houston, TX. She met and married her future spouse in Houston and worked for Southwestern Bell for over 25 years. She extremely enjoyed traveling with her family
and shopping. She often reminisced about her trips and treasured memories. In her later years, her health declined but she always was cheerful, friendly, and optimistic. She will be missed by all her loved ones.
