I worked with Reece at Dresser Magcobar for several years in the R&D department. He was one of the most innovative scientists I have worked with - Reece always had a solution (or found a solution) to every problem. On top of that, he was a gentleman in every sense of the word. His quick sense of humor also helped us through many days and projects.
