Sharon Lynn Barnette passed away December 7th 2007. Sharon had an infectious laugh and smiling personality that made her a joy to be around. She was a shining light to her family and friends, and she will be greatly missed. She is survived by her two sons Jimmy and Bobby, their wives, and her three grandchildren. Memorial service to be held Friday December 14th at 2 PM in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service (13501 Alief-Clodine Rd, Houston, TX 77082).

Although we haven't spent any time together in the last several years, I have many fond memories of our times together -- playing poker, going out dancing, enjoying good music, and family BBQ's at Brit's house.
