Stephen attended Kempner High School and was considered a "natural" baseball player. He will be remembered most by his constant humor, his tender heart, and the desire to be a good father to his beautiful 2-year old daughter, Kadence.

I did not know your Stephen but I am a mother and grandmother. I saw this beautiful handsome face and just felt the need to say how sorry I am for your loss. Please know that as a Christian I am praying for your entire family for God's peace during this time. I hope Stephen's baby girl will always be reminded of the father who left this world too soon. Love in Christ..

Hey Steve it's Charles Froberg, it's tough remembering all those times fishing in the lake, the many awesome years of baseball, squirrel hunting with your grandpa. I am going to miss you bro.

Steven,
I will always remember you by your competive but fun loving attitude on the Sugar Land little league baseball fields. You, Nick, your dad and I had so much fun playing and coaching baseball. Your mom and Robin were enjoying it as much from the bleachers. Those were great days! We will always remember you!

Steve, where do I start.... There's been so many years and so many tears. I am just so thankful for sharing so many important moments in our lives with you. It's hard to let you go. I never really could completely get rid of you after all these years. My heart hurts for your family; we will all miss you so very much! I know that the best thing to do is let you go and to keep all the memories close to my heart. I just wish you hadn't decided to leave yet. I thank you for the few years we shared and for all those little moments we had experienced for the first time together. Goodbye Steve, I will always love and miss you.

My fondest memories will always be when my oldest son and Stephen played baseball at Sugar Land Little League and Kempner High School. I will always remember Stephen when I look at a baseball field. Now he can play baseball with all his heroes in heaven!

My sincere condolences go out to the Pratt family.

There are alot of baseball memories for our family with Steve in them. For years, Chet played with that whole group of guys that had a true love for the game. They all became close friends because of the sport.

Steve will be missed by many.

Quick wit, ready grin, no fear, sharp competitive edge and great hand-eye coordination, boundless energy. Baseball road trips with high decibel teenage "conversation" and higher decibel music(?) on my truck's stunned stereo. Go-kart boogie boarding at the beach with another Steve story around the campfire. (Is that story really true?)
This is how E, Mrs. E and I will remember him.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Steve, Robbie and Family.

I love and miss you so much. Life just seems unberable it seems so unreal. So many people were at your funeral many who knew you and many who wish they did. It was so hard to leave mom and dads last night, it felt like i was leaving the memories behind even though I will always have them in my heart. Mom and Dad love you so much and miss you, I know they wish you were still here. We are all so glad you are no longer in pain. If there is one thing i could have said to you before you left this earth, Is I love you and I am proud that you are my brother. I will never forget you. Love and Miss you forever! Love Your Sis

Upon hearing of Little Pratt's (as we called him)death, I pulled out all of the baseball pictures and videos we have. He was a great ball player and such a fun loving young man. He was a joy to hang out with. He will forever be in our hearts.

You must know how many people loved Steve and are here for your family. May God be with all of you.
