Truman H. Taylor, 88, passed away at his home in the Woodlands on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Vonnie (Johnson) Taylor; sons, Joe Taylor & wife Cynthia, and Ben Taylor & wife Kristi; daughter, Suzie Bilnoski & husband Robert; grandchildren, Amy, Luke, Julie, Kye, Zach, Paige, Reagan, Cade; six great-grandchildren; and his brother, Bill Taylor.

He is preceded by his first wife of 35 years and the mother of his children in 1984, Evelyn Taylor; his brother, T.J. Taylor; his sister, Roberta Barker; and his parents, Robert Taylor & Docia (McClain) Taylor.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 21, 2013 at WoodsEdge Community Church in The Woodlands, Pastor Jeff Wells officiating.

I had the pleasure of being Truman's physical therapist several times (and Vonnie's) over the last year or two, and he was the dearest man. He was never in a bad mood, always cheerful and ready to do whatever I asked of him. He had such a sweet, kind presence that I will truly miss. I don't go to the grocery store and see Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey without thinking about his daily ritual! Please stay in touch, Vonnie.
