"Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord." (2 Peter 1:3 NIV)
Though I didn't know Mrs. Linn personally, I am aware of the wonderful legacy she left behind in her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. What a wonderful role model of love and faithfulness! May those left behind be comforted by the words and promises of our Savior. "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." (John 14:1-3 NIV) "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." (Revelation 21:4 NIV) "No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever." (Revelation 22:3-5 NIV) May our gracious Father give you the peace that passes all understanding as you remember his love for Violet and for you. Thinking of you and remembering you in our prayers. + Dear Jesus, thank you for carrying Violet safely home. Thank you for her life and the many people she has touched in her 91 years. May her memory cause many to turn to you and glorify your name. Thank you for calling us by name and making us your own. Comfort Violet's family now as they mourn this temporary separation. Keep them in your love and grace and unite us all one day in heaven with you. In the name of Jesus, our Savior, we pray. Amen. + Love, Jerry & Bonnie Dockan & Granny Ruby
