Patricia Draper Bartlett

Patricia Bartlett, of Houston, died peacefully surrounded by loving family on Thursday, June 25, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 87.

Patricia was born in Del Rio, Texas and attended The University of Texas at Austin. Patricia worked at Exxon for 25 years as an executive administrative assistant supporting top executives. After retiring from Exxon, Patricia embarked on a new career selling real estate, after receiving her broker's license. Patricia leaves children Cecile Omo and Kent Cohen, Cindy Omo and granddaughter Katie Omo-Cohen, all of Houston.

Patricia married Ross Emerson Bartlett in 1970. Patricia’s greatest legacy were her daughters Cecile, Cindy and her granddaughter Katie. She enjoyed living in Scotland for seven years during Ross’s extended work assignment. She also shared her love of traveling with her daughters,taking the family all over Europe, Asia and the South Pacific, and inspiring a life-long love of travel and adventure in all. Through the years and into retirement, Patricia was a consummate gardener and avid reader. She was also a long time patron of the Museum of Fine Arts. Throughout her life Patricia was a loving steward of dogs including two boxers, five standard poodles, two toy poodles and one border collie.
