Antonio was preceded in death by his parents, Esmeralda & Jose Antonio Reñazco of Managua; brother John B. Reñazco of New Orleans; and sisters Esperanza Lambert and Norma Arguello of Los Angeles CA.

He was devoted to his family and leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife of 43 years, Marjorie; son Dr. Marco Reñazco and wife Melanie; daughter Michelle and husband Terry Edwards; and grandchildren: Roman, Lillian, Baron and Giovanna Reñazco; and Jackie, Natalie and Kyle Edwards; a sister, Argentina Roddy of Miami FL and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Antonio grew up in Managual Nicaragual attending La Salle Catholic Schools where he was an Altar Boy, the drum major of the band and an avid soccer player. After high school he went to New Orleans, LA to attend Loyola University in pre-engineering. He went on to Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester MA to complete a B.S. Degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.

His first engineering job was at Buffalo Forge Company in Buffalo NY. In 1952 he moved to Caracas, Venezuela, to work at Tecnomat and later at Creole Petroleum as an engineer.

In 1960 Antonio became Commercial Attache to the Nicaraguan Embassy in Caracas. In 1965 he was named Consul General of Nicaragua in New Orleans LA. Our most recent memory about Mr. Renazco is sitting with him at his daughter's 40th birthday dinner. He was so funny and happy. My husband and I thought: I hope we are that much fun when we are his age!! Mrs. Renazco, Michelle, Marco and all of Mr. Renazco's loved ones are in our daily prayers.

Antonio was person who always was working. Several weeks before his death, he was negotiating the establishment of a Pensacola chapter of Granaderos y Damas. I am glad he did this before passing. The members of Pensacola will remember his tireless efforts to preserve the unique contributions of Spanish heritage. The Pensacola chapter sends its condolences.

My deepest sympathy Marjorie on Antonio's passing. Although it has been awhile since I last saw you two, I remember you two with great fondness as dear friends to my parents, Minnie & Tony Sagarnaga. Mother so enjoyed her travels to Spain with the Granaderos & Damas de Galvez in the company of wonderful friends and fellow Hispanics and of course the camaraderie in working together with the Institute of Hispanic Culture to continue a legacy to Houston. I remember most your kind visit to my home to visit Mother during her last few days in our earthly world. Now they are all together enjoying the promise of Heaven. Thank you both for your kind friendship to them and hope your wonderful memories help you and your family through this difficult time. Warmest regards, Linda Sagarnaga Magill

I met Antonio shortly after starting with Allstate in 1989; he always had kind words to say and had such a gentle and caring personality. I always enjoyed listening to his thoughts on our ever-changing business. I never heard a negative word from him.

He will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. May "the God of all comfort" (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) comfort and soothe your heart. His promises, found in the Holy Scriptures, can offer much hope. It assures us at John 5:28,29 that our loved ones will be remembered and brought back to life in the resurrection. Please allow God's Word to strengthen you and help you to endure this most difficult time.
