He is survived by his mother, Rosa Torres Acosta; his life partner of 15 years, Filadelfia Piedra; their daughter, Jennifer Torres; and Fila's daughter, Lizeth Piedra; sisters, Jovita Lopez and Oliva Lopez; and brother, Isidro Lopez.
Services will begin Tuesday, November 26, 2019 in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service with a visitation from 4 to 9 p.m. and will continue Wednesday morning, November 27, 2019 at 10 a.m. with the funeral at noon. Burial will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery (12800 Westheimer Rd, at Dairy Ashford)
