Brenda Kay Edwards

Brenda Kay Edwards, 63 passed away on March 21st, 2026 at Methodist West Hospital in Katy, Texas. She was born January 3rd, 1963 in San Bernardino, California to Letha Pearl Wilks and Cluster Edwards.

Brenda is Survived by her 2 children, Jovan and Roshawn Lewis; her 2 grandchildren, Sha'mya Denise Perkins and Trinity Johnson; her 6 sisters, Juanita, Mary, Jeanette, Antonia, Theresa and Angel Edwards; and her 1 brother, Albert Watson.

Brenda loved to sing. She was in a group in Louisiana and love singing at church and choir. She had an amazing voice. Brenda had 3 children. One preceded in death Kenneth Lewis and had a lot of love coming from Jovan Lewis and Roshawn Lewis. She is Survived by her 6 sisters. Juanita, Mary, Theresa, Antonia, Jeanette, and Angel Edwards. Her 2 children Jovan and Roshawn Lewis and a host of Nieces, nephews and cousins.

Brenda is preceded in death by her 2 parents, Letha Dangerfield and Cluster Edwards; her son, Kenneth Lewis; her sister, Bonita Edwards; and her brothers, Harvey and Roy Edwards.

Services are scheduled for Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Beresford Funeral Service with the Visitation beginning at 1:00pm and the Funeral Service starting at 2:00pm.
