I had known David for over 26 years. During those years David always was a true friend and a gentleman. He never ad a bad word to say about anyone and always was trying to do service to children through his magic. The world lost a truly kind and considerate person. And I lost a true and thoughtful friend. I will truly miss him.

David was such a wonderful man, who gave of himself to many students at SLMS. When he was in my room substituting, I could always count on his good nature and his love of the students.

I will always remember David as a kind and gentle individual. My students loved having him as a substitute. He would always manage to perform a little magic before they left my classroom.

David will be missed considerably.

I will always remember Mr. Inkster as a gentleman that was always kind and caring.Mr. Inkster would always go out of his way to strike up a conversation with a friend or a total stranger. He always showed great caring concern towards the students, faculty and staff at Sugar Land Middle School. The "kids" really felt this concern when he covered a class. Mr. Inkster, you will be greatly missed and it truly was an honor to have known you. You were such a positive influence on all of us because no matter how bad things seemed-you were always upbeat and positive with daily life! With sincere respect...YOUR TEXAS COUNTRY FRIEND.

He inspired many with his magical skills. I have had the pleasure of being his partner for the last 12 years. We built many balloon arches and entertained many kids and grownups alike at shows over the years. He was one of the most likable people I have had the pleasure of knowing. His easy going performing style was a pleasure to watch and work with. You don’t have to be a big name entertainer to have a great impact on the people you perform magic for. To say he will be missed is an understatement.
