Mihai Grigore passed away peacefully on March 11, 2023, in Houston, Texas, surrounded by his family. He was born on May 9, 1932, in Bucharest, Romania to Florica Grigore and Gheorghe Budaru.
After graduating high school, Mihai joined the Romanian Navy, where he served for three years. He met the love of his life, Maria Dutu, at the
Mihai is survived by his two daughters, Zorina Guegan and Claudia Neagoe, and four grandchildren, Mihaela Dumitrescu, Cristina Dumitrescu, Andrei Guegan, and Ruxandra Andreea Neagoe.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Grigore, and his parents, Florica Grigore and Gheorghe Budaru.
Services will be held at Beresford Funeral Service on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, with the Visitation starting at 10am and the Funeral Service beginning at 11am. A Graveside Service will follow at 1pm at Carmen Nelson Bostick Cemetery.

After graduating high school, Mihai joined the Romanian Navy, where he served for three years. He met the love of his life, Maria Dutu, at the
Romanian National Dancing school, and were married in 1931. Together, they had two daughters: one born in December of 1952 and the other in January of 1968.
Mihai is survived by his two daughters, Zorina Guegan and Claudia Neagoe, and four grandchildren, Mihaela Dumitrescu, Cristina Dumitrescu, Andrei Guegan, and Ruxandra Andreea Neagoe.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Grigore, and his parents, Florica Grigore and Gheorghe Budaru.
