To God be the glory for Mrs. Adebimpe Beatrice Balogun's life. I came to know Ms. Bea (as we affectionately call her) when she worked at the group home as caregiver for my loved one. Ms. Bea was compassionate, caring, loving, and a diligent worker. She was committed to her schedule and could be depended upon to be there come rain or sunshine. When her granddaughter, Elizabeth at an early age, lost her mother, as grandma, Beatrice stepped in and raised Elizabeth to her current age of 9 years. Elizabeth, an old soul, refuses to be called a “little child.” She says "I am not a little child; I am nine years old." That is the influence and wisdom from an awesome grandma! The experience, wisdom, and courage have all be passed down to Elizabeth from her loving grandma. Elizabeth is an amazing reader and a wise and studious child.
Mrs. Adebimpe Beatrice Balogun's legacy is gratitude. She was always grateful to God and people for all the little things in life. You would hear her thanking God for everything, and she would text me weekly to convey her thanks for the simplest things. To her text I would reply "To God be the glory." It was God who led Beatrice to the United States and kept her here to accomplish the independence she acquired to keep herself and Elizabeth safe for the duration of her stay.
May her soul rest in perfect peace, and may light perpetual shine upon her. You fought a good fight, your finish the race. Reap your heavenly reward, in Jesus mighty name. Amen
