In Memory of
Alice Faye Brown
-

In loving memory of Alice Faye Brown, affectionately known as Faye or Grammy.

On October 23rd, 2023 Faye left this earthly realm surrounded by her loving family to live in eternity with our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.

Born on June 13th, 1957 in Corpus Christi, Texas, Grammy brought love, warmth, and joy into the lives of everyone she touched. She wholeheartedly lived to bring Christ, love and fun to her family and friends.

Her legacy will be carried on by her loving husband of 46 years, Mark Brown. He stood by her side through every twist and turn of life’s journey. She leaves behind a beautiful tapestry of family including her children Derrick and wife Jessica, Travis, Wesley and wife Lele, David and wife Tara, and Hannah Brown whose lives she enriched with unwavering love, guidance and support. Grammy’s love extended even further to her five grandsons, Tanner, Ian, Logan, Keegan, and Matthew. Each of whom was a source of pride and delight. She is also survived by her adorning family, mother Mary Torrible, sisters Mary Reeves and Janet Gloger, brother David Reeves and countless nieces and nephews.

Faye was not just a mother, wife, and grandmother. She was a beacon of love, compassion, and fun. Her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched and the memories we all hold dear.

As we say our goodbyes, we celebrate the beautiful life she led and the love she imparted on each and every one of us. She will forever remain in our hearts as a guiding light, a source of strength, an example of unconditional love, and a cherished memory of the warmth she brought to our lives.

Rest in peace dear Grammy. Your love will continue to shine in each of our hearts, a testament to the extraordinary person you are.

So many memories of Faye and her babies at Northwest Baptist and of church camp. The thing most remembered was her smiles and laughter. If Faye had a plan, Mark went along with it. Good times in the Lord. Bye, sweet friend, see you in your brand new home one day. Lynda Byrd, Jasper Tx

My sincerest condolences. She was definitely one of the coolest moms around growing up. Always a gracious host. I’ve never forgotten the hospitality and kindness she (and Mark) always showed, especially during some hard times with my own mother.
