In Memory of
Clement Iziengbe Uwa
-

Clement Iziengbe Uwa, 45, passed away on September 8, 2015 in Sugar Land, Texas. He was born on August 24, 1970 in Nigeria to Joseph Uwuilekhue and Regina Emergbor Uwuilekhue.

He is survived by brothers Charles Uwuilekhue, Tony Osagie, Osagie Uwuilekhue; and sisters Brenda Joseph, Sylvia Anasi, Hope Iguodala, Blessing Aghayere, and Angela Uwuilekhue. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Clement was a Loving Brother, Uncle, and Friend. He had reverence for God, and loved his family very much. He was generous, he gave when he did not have much, and when he did, he gave even more. He was well liked and respected among his friends. He loved life, always wanted to do fun things with family and friends. You would sometimes catch him joking around with his nieces, being very childlike, and making them laugh. He once told his nieces that his dog named Berks goes to school and was in the eleventh grade. They almost believed him. Growing up as children he was always the one to initiate the games or sports we played. I remember how much he loved wandering through the woods in the neighborhood exploring the stagnant waters here and there looking for tadpoles which he would scoop up into a glass jar filled with water and he would nurture them until they became little frogs, then he would release them feeling accomplished; he had that kind of patience. He was one of those who was able to talk intelligently and confidently to any person on any subject no matter how complicated; he always had something to add to knowledge. He had his fair share of challenges in life but he always managed to keep his head high braving the tide with this resolve - 'that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross of cavalry has already washed him clean'. It is this resolve that gives me the confidence that he has entered into God's eternal rest. We his siblings, nieces and nephew have many happy memories of him, and these we hold dear in our hearts and will continue to cherish them, as Clement cherished us.

Adieu Clement, rest in peace and in bliss in God's bosom, till we meet again, and concerning you, I say God wins! You have won.

Services will be on Thursday, September 24, 2015, beginning with a visitation at 10 AM followed by funeral at 10:30 AM in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service. Interment will be at 1PM at Carmen Nelson Bostick Historic Cemetery.

We can't question God why it should be this time, but do believe he know best. May his soul rest in peace

Bros Clement, I will keep the memory of your interestingly deep voice which echoes “how una dey!” every time you step into the house and see us having fun with your entire family. And your affirmative compliment of “CORRECT” when something impresses you. Oh how I will miss all that, continue to rest in the Lord’s bosom, till we meet again.
