Frances (Fran) Fournet Tennyson, 82, of The Woodlands, TX ran joyfully into the everlasting arms of her Savior on October 23, 2016. She was born on December 2, 1933 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Bruce and Agnes Fournet. She was a gracious and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

We were so sorry to hear of Frans passing. Praying for peace and comfort for the family during this trying time. We only had the honor and priviledge of meeting Fran one time, she was so sweet and kind. Such a gracious lady, with a beautiful friendly smile. Our daughter, Jennifer Flinn Tennyson and our son in law Steve have such sweet stories of Fran and Bill. What an amazing gift to all who knew them. I am sure they are in heaven smiling and looking down on their family with such pride. Blessings for all the amazing and loving Tennyson family.

I'll always remember Aunt Fran the one who wouldn't go to the mailbox without her hair done to perfection and makeup on. Always graceful and elegant. A Lady to a "T". Will miss you Aunt Fran. Till we meet again, all my love.

Fran became a close friend as I would visit at her bedside during her final weeks. No matter the pain, she would always muster one of her beaming smiles. I told her she had a "ministry smile," as her countenance caused others to stop and smile with her. I would sing...she would close her eyes...and beam. We talked of Heaven. She was at peace and ready to see Jesus. My mama is with Jesus, and her name is Frances, too. More than once, Fran told me she would speak to her for me in Heaven. And if she couldn't find her, she would ask Jesus to introduce them. In all our interactions, she liked our prayer times the best. During those times, it did seem Jesus was so close you could feel His breathing in the room. Now Fran is absent from her body, but forever with her LORD! I am thankful that her lovely spirit touched my life.
