Joe was dedicated to his family. When he lived in Oklahoma, he was often
waiting to visit his niece and nephew when they got home from school, teaching them to use the computer and spending time with them after his shifts at the restaurant. After his father died, Joe moved back to Texas to keep his mother company and take care of whatever she might need. He also enjoyed spoiling some very blessed dogs throughout the years.
