
Lark Kaskie age 75, passed away peacefully at her home in Houston on Friday, May 17, 2019. Lark was born in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1944 to John Clark Kaskie and his wife Rosemary. Lark was the oldest of five children. Her four siblings are: Jay, Ray, Keith, and Dawn.
Lark grew up in Texas and went to high school just south of Houston in La Marque. She then attended the University of Texas in Austin, where she
Lark cherished her time with her family enormously.
Lark had many, many friends for whom she cared deeply. She loved to travel, dance and to create art, always experiencing as much as life had to offer. She was passionate, generous, adventurous… She was an artist, a teacher, a student, a traveler, a writer, and a Queenie.

Lark Kaskie age 75, passed away peacefully at her home in Houston on Friday, May 17, 2019. Lark was born in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1944 to John Clark Kaskie and his wife Rosemary. Lark was the oldest of five children. Her four siblings are: Jay, Ray, Keith, and Dawn.
Lark grew up in Texas and went to high school just south of Houston in La Marque. She then attended the University of Texas in Austin, where she
met her future husband, Preston Faykus. After graduating, Lark and Preston lived in Southern California and later married. They then moved back to Texas and had 3 children: Preston, Jr., Audrey, and Jordan. Today, all three are married with multiple children of their own. Preston Jr. is married to Tiffany and they live in St. Petersburg, Florida with their three children: Caitlin, Rachel, and Luke. Audrey is married to Oyvind and they live in Oslo, Norway with their two children: Thomas and Caroline. Jordan is married to Christin and they live in Houston with their two children: Evelyn and Kellar.
