Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen

Say not in grief ‘he is no more’ but live in
thankfulness that he was.

Karen and family,
Karen it has been my pleasure to know Paul. He was the BEST Boss I had at this place. He cared so much about the Sport and the people involved in it. I Loved listening to his Life Stories. More than that, when he composed a Memo it was more like a Novel. An enjoyable Novel. Most of those memos we just toss in the Recycle. Not Pauls. I saved many and read them more than once. I will miss my dear friend but I am confident that I will see him in Heaven.
May Gods Love heal your broken Heart. Keep the Faith.
Your Friend, Lynn Cornett

Karen et al:

I only met you at Paul's service, but I felt the deep hurt and loss you are undoubtedly still going through.
I knew Paul for a very short time, in comparison, but have nothing but good things to say about my old boss. He was fair, communicative, and always let you know if you were doing a good job (or not). He actually once used the word "stellar" when I was worried and asked him about how I was doing at my job. He was awesome! He truly cared about the customers there, though a few
times he was all bark (but no bite.) I remember so many times seeing him coming in early and still being in that glass office when I finished a double shift, sometimes around 1 a.m. I'd shout "Goodnight, Paul -- go home!" He'd say, "Almost done -- see ya tomorrow."
He was a good boss, a good man. Of course you know that.

Remember him in ways that only you can.
Remember his voice.
That's always what I miss most about my loved ones that are now gone.

Faces will always be there in pictures, but the fun, playful, loving memories and the sound of their voice are really all you can truly hold onto.

I hope things are getting easier for you to bear. I know it has been difficult, but 'this, too, shall pass'.

Take care of yourself and yours.
It was a pleasure to meet you, and my thoughts and prayers are with you.
