Sharolyn Joyce Blasingame

Sharolyn Joyce Blasingame passed away July 31, 2013 after a brave decade long battle with Breast Cancer. Sharolyn was born in Dallas, Texas February 27, 1939 to Helen Keller and Oscar “Doc” Blasingame. She graduated from North Dallas High School and attended North Texas University before beginning her career with Republic National Bank in Dallas. After her banking career she invested in commercial real estate in the Arlington, Texas area prior to moving to Houston where she enjoyed the company of her many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Sharolyn is survived by her mother Helen Blasingame, her brother Larry Lamar Blasingame and his wife Betty and her sister Diane Blasingame Grinsfelder and her husband Gary. Her nieces and nephews include Lara Blasingame Hancock her husband Rusty and his son Joshua Tyler; Kimberly Blasingame Strittmatter her husband Scott and sons Luke Lamar, Jude Thomas and Henry Edward; Ami Grinsfelder Valdez her husband Stan and their children Claire Diane, Jackson Scott and Elizabeth Joyce; Garrett Wayne Grinsfelder his wife Norma and their children Oscar Ryan and Garrett Isaac; and Michael Lamar Grinsfelder. Sharolyn was loved very much by her family and will be greatly missed.
