I was friends with Sheila's daughter, Kristi, in highschool. I spent many wonderful hours at Kristi's house and Sheila was always so kind and welcoming to me. And she made the best Biscuits and Gravy I ever ate. She was also full of fun. I remember going to the shopping mall with her and Kristi a few times. Sheila and I would act silly at the mall sometimes because we knew it embarrassed Kristi to have her mother act goofy like that in public. We didn't do it for very long because we knew it bugged her, and it was all in fun, but Kristi still has it out for us to this day. ;-) (that last part is a joke :-)

Hmmm, trying again. Of course I may have said it better the first time but...
Beautiful lady. Never heard her say a mean thing about anyone. Loved calling her out of the blue (somehow never forgot her phone number). Very funny too...C-A-T, D-O-G, some folks might know what I'm talking about. Lost but never forgotten. Loved her.

I just heard of Sheila's passing. My condolences to her family and friends. She was a great neighbor and friend to my parents, sharing favorite dishes and recipes with my mom and annually crossed the street to sing a hearty rendition of Happy Birthday to my dad. After my folks passedSheila was always upbeat and had a good word to say about everyone. What a life force to be reckoned with! She is missed.
