My Great Aunt Dorthy Hayman passed away a few days ago. She was my favorite person on my mother's side of the family besides my grandmother. Her and her husband took me in when I was in a bad way and nursed me back to health, got me back to work, set me up with a car and apartment, and gave me a restart on life saving my life if the truth be known as well as setting me up to eventually get my kids out of an abusive situation and giving them a start also. I have not know people greater than these. All of them were religious and were of a helping and giving nature. They were able to look past the surface of people and see the real person and the good in those around them. I literally owe them my life and hate to know that the last great person of my mom's family has passed. Of course, I am not well connected with the family/children anymore so there may well be some more I am not aware of. These types of persons are what make families great and give kids a goal to strive for - someone to be like! To bad there are not more like them today...this is what is wrong with America! All my love to a great and strong lady!
