In Memory of
William Grant Wykoff III
-

William “Bill” Grant Wykoff III, age 80, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026, in Houston, Texas. Born in New York on July 15, 1945, and raised in Alabama, Bill later made his home in Houston, Texas.

He lived a life defined by love for his family, deep faith, and an unwavering commitment to his favorite traditions. Bill was a talented fix-it man who could repair almost anything and found joy in working with his hands. A dedicated deacon in his younger life at his church, he spent years passionately leading people to Christ. If he wasn't spending time with his large, beloved family, he could be found cheering for University of Alabama football, likely wearing crimson and white. He also shared a special, inseparable bond with his German shepherd, Sasha, who brought immense joy and companionship to his later years.

He is now reunited with his beloved wife, Jane Wykoff, who preceded him in death.

Bill’s legacy lives on through his devoted children: his sons, Gregg Wykoff (Mindy), Chris Wykoff, and Joshua Wykoff (Ashlee); and his daughter, Jessica Owen (Randy). He is also survived by his sister, Joanne Hogan Timmons; his brother, Don Wykoff; and a proud legacy of 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren who will miss their grandfather's warmth and steady presence.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Carmen Nelson Bostick Historic Cemetery (12317 Holderrieth Rd, Tomball, TX 77375) at 10:00am.
